Took a flight up to Portland Area with Patrick

Mount Shasta Ever since getting my pilot's certificate in June, I wanted to go on a long cross country flight to visit my mom near Portland Oregon. My company shuts down the office in Mountain View for two weeks around Christmas and New Years. I took this as the perfect opportunity to take several days to go to Oregon. The flight should only take on average about 5 hours each way if the wind remains the same both ways. For this particular trip since the winds were from the north, I knew it would take longer to get there than to get back. So we planned accordingly.

Was time for an upgrade - 2012 Charger R/T Max

I've been wanting a new car for some time now, I've had all of my vehicles paid off and my pickup truck is getting a bit long in the tooth. There are several cars I have been considering, and I wanted something sporty. I've been looking online at sport coupes such as the Hyundai Genisis Coupe, Mazda RX8, Suburu BRZ/Scion FRS, Audi TT, or even the Dodge Challenger; I've also been looking at "hot hatches" like the Volkswagen Golf R, GTI, Mini Cooper, or the Hyundai Veloster Turbo. One car I've been keeping an eye on is the Dodge Charger.

What an amazing ride yesterday

On Thursday, I took my motorcycle to the shop to get a new battery and brakes. I also needed new tires so I got those as well as a battery tender. Since this is my 3rd battery for this bike.

I didn't go anywhere on Friday or Saturday, so the first opportunity that I had to go for a ride was Sunday. I couldn't find my ear plugs, so the first stop was to Rite-Aid. From there I decided to just, "go". I packed the camera for when I stop or see something worth photographing.

Superbike Weekend at Laguna Seca

WOW, what an exciting weekend. Stefano and I got so many pictures it's not even funny...

I was pretty excited about going to the races this year, and really wanted to take my bike, unfortunatly the bike developed a charging problem 2 weeks before the races. This really bummed me out because last year I blew up the motor a week or two before the races and wasn't able to ride it down there then either.
